Prerequisites and Login

The AskLink Business Controller is used by members to connect to and manage authorized enterprise Controlled devices. Members cannot access enterprise devices directly with a personal account. They must first join the enterprise and obtain administrator authorization.

Prerequisites

Before using the AskLink Business Controller, members need to meet the following conditions:

• The member has joined the enterprise through an invitation;
• The administrator has assigned a role to the member;
• The administrator has authorized the target Controlled device for the member;
• The member has downloaded and installed the AskLink Business Controller.

Download the AskLink Business Controller

1. Open the AskLink Business client download page;

2. Download the corresponding installer according to the operating system of the Controller device;
3. After the download is complete, run the installer and complete installation.

Log In to the Member Account

1. Open the AskLink Business Controller and log in with the AskLink account bound when the member was invited to join the enterprise;
2. Select the enterprise to enter;
3. Follow the page prompts to complete two-step verification.

View the Device List After Login

After members log in to the AskLink Business Controller, they can only see devices authorized to them by the administrator.

If the member has joined multiple enterprises, first confirm whether the currently selected enterprise is correct.

Troubleshooting When Devices Are Not Visible

If the enterprise device list is empty or the target device cannot be found, troubleshoot in the following order:

1. Whether the member has joined the correct enterprise;
2. Whether two-step verification has been completed;
3. Whether the administrator has assigned a role to the current member;
4. Whether the administrator has authorized the target device for the current member;
5. Whether the target device has connected to the enterprise and is online;
6. Whether the current Controller authorization has been revoked.

If you cannot confirm the information above by yourself, contact the enterprise administrator to check member permissions, device authorization, and Controller authorization status.

Notes

• The device visibility scope of the AskLink Business Controller is determined by administrator authorization;
• Logging in to the AskLink Business Controller does not mean having permissions for all enterprise devices;
• Logging in to the AskLink Business Controller on a public device is risky. Log out or revoke Controller authorization promptly after use.
