macOS permission settings

To ensure remote connections work properly, complete the following macOS permissions before initiating an AskLink remote connection. You can follow the prompts in the AskLink client to jump to settings, or set them manually in System Settings.

Guided prompts in the client

The steps are the same for the three permissions and can be completed easily.

1. Click the prompt button at the bottom of the client interface.
2. Enable Accessibility , Screen Recording , and Full Disk Access .
   

Manual system settings

Besides jumping from the client, you can also go to the settings manually.

Accessibility

1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility .
   
2. In the app list, find "AskLink"，and click Turn On to add it.
   

Screen Recording

1. After the above steps, return to Privacy & Security and go to Screen Recording & System Audio Recording .
   
2. In the app list, find "AskLink"，and click Turn On to add it.
   

Full Disk Access

1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access .
   
2. In the app list, find "AskLink"，and click Turn On to add it.
