Full Screen, Maximize, and Display Adaptation

This section explains AskLink’s display adaptation options to help you balance clarity and convenience.

Display adaptation options

With "Display Adaptation", you can choose how the remote image fits the window. Three modes are available:

  • Scaling: The remote image fills the window proportionally and adjusts with the window size.
  • Original: The remote image is shown at its native resolution. Scrollbars appear if the remote resolution exceeds the local one.
  • Auto: Intelligently combines scaling and original strategies.

If black bars appear, the aspect ratios of the Controlled and Controller sides differ. Adjust the resolution ratio on the Controlled device.

Click the floating arrow at the top of the remote image to open the Control Panel, select Display , then choose your mode under Display Adaptation .
