When using AskLink on certain Linux distributions (such as Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS, Arch, Manjaro, or openSUSE), you may encounter issues like a black screen, failed connections, or abnormal input.
These problems are often caused by your system running a Wayland session.
It’s recommended to switch to an Xorg (X11) session for a more stable remote control experience.
This guide only covers how to switch sessions through the graphical user interface (GUI) — no command line operations are required.
For systems that use the GDM login manager with a gear icon on the login screen:
