HTTP Proxy
AskLink supports HTTP and HTTPS proxies.
The proxy address can use either a domain name or IP address.
Both no authentication and username/password authentication are supported.
- Prepare a working proxy server address and port
- Make sure the proxy server is reachable
- Open AskLink and click “My” > “HTTP Proxy”
- Enter the proxy address, proxy port (required), and the username and password (optional)
- Click “Enable Proxy”; once the test passes, the settings take effect immediately

- Open AskLink and click “My” > “HTTP Proxy”
- Click “Disable Proxy” to turn off the proxy

- You can edit the proxy settings after disabling the proxy
- The proxy only applies to AskLink
- The HTTP proxy feature is only available to Professional Edition members
- Only IPv4 proxies are supported
